After the match against Sassuolo, coach Simone Inzaghi spoke to Lazio Style Channel.

"It was a hard scenario. In Norcia I started my coaching career, but I had been there as a player and see the square of Norcia destroyed this way, the images were a really tough. Unfortunately it is something that should never happen. We, too, at 7.30, we felt the quake here in Formello. The last two games have opened up this way, that should never happen, we hope that these events do not happen again. There were already dramatic moments in my last training camp in Norcia as a player, they were dramatic moments, and we lived them ourselves this morning again in Formello because we were all here at about 7.20 / 7.30 we were all in our sleeping robes, all the technical staff, all the players who did not understand, neither us, if it was a joke or if it was really happening. However, unfortunately, it was true, we have seen strong images because in Norcia, in the square, we did a lot of walks and see it that way, it seemed something unreal, but unfortunately it happened.

We found a Sassuolo who played with a different module that initially caused us some problems. I think it is never easy to win against Sassuolo because it is a very good team, very well coached by Di Francesco but we did well, there was a moment in which we struggled, but we then made group again and from this match I cash in our attitude because we had great character.

We were ahead by two goals and I needed Lucas’ plays, apart from the first ball then Lucas has not missed anything, he is our captain. A vital player for us. He has forged ahead, working hard to be available from today. The playing time he had was the right one, I will assess his condition in a week and then I will decide how to use him in Naples.

Our defenders were great. We had a few rotations and were all very good, by Patric, Basta, Wallace, Hoedt, Prce himself who had his time, Radu, then even when we put Lulic back, were all very good because thinking to play a week as well, first in Turin we had no more than 14-15 players, honor and respect to my guys. For a coach I think the most is to see the players playing 3 consecutive games maybe they had been employed a little less at first, but for me is a great pride.

Felipe is doing great things, but I'm not surprised because he trains very well, is growing in the second time because when you train well during the week, try to prepare for the best, and when teams start to be tired, he manages to be even more incisive.

Games are never closed, we saw it at Bergamo, the same Wednesday against Cagliari. I did not want to get a score against but unfortunately it happened, I would have preferred not to take it, but it's the only smear of the whole game. We must also think that sometimes there are even opponents, and Sassuolo is a great team."
